Dresden

It is gratifying to find there are also many art-loving people in Germany. Until Otto von Bismarck unified his country in late 19th Century, Germany was not a unified country. It consisted of many small kingdoms with different cultural traditions. Even these days, Berlin is a city of universities and science research places, while Munich is beer-drinking city of fun-loving people.

Let us go to Dresden.

• Semper Opera House
  1. Goethe and Schiller at the entrance of the Opera House.

  5. I wanted to have my photo with these ladies, but nobody was around to push the camera button. The best way was to ask one lady to take the photo while the other was with me. Thus, the lady on the left, then the lady on the right.

  6. I feel more comfortable with senior citizens, simply because I am a senior citizen.
