Mexican Friends

• Mexican Models, in Puebla (June 2003). Models usually charge money for photos, but these Mexican ladies gave me a free shot.

  4. Mexican students at the GDG Airport (Paris 2010). They were going to Moscow for a ballet lesson during the summer months.
  5. with a Mexican student from Guadalajara during the 8th Int'l Conference on Squeezed States and Uncertainty Relations (Puebla, Mexico, 2003).
     Four years later, she became an established physicist. This photo was produced in Bradford (England 2007).

  6. "Yes" after "No". She did not hurt my feeling. I proposed a photo with this conservative-looking lady at the city center square in Puebla (Mexico 2003). She said No, and I quietly walked away. She then ran toward me and proposed this photo. A very warm-hearted lady indeed. Bill Clinton once said Japanese Yes means No. It is much better to hear Yes after No.
  7. Mexican Police Lady, kind enough to interrupt her traffic duty to pose with me (Puebla 2003). Another Police Lady, who was also kind to this old man. Ordinarily, you get arrested if you propose anything to police officers on duty. Mexican police ladies are different.

• Young Artists in the Mujeres Island (July 2004). From Cancun, it takes 20 minutes by a ferry boat to go to fun-filled island.
  1. This young lady is luring a shy Mexican boy in a comedy show. She then lured me (2004).

  4. Mexican Senior Citizen from Arizona (USA). She has a daughter of my age . She went to the United States when she was 16 years old, and built a very respectable family in Arizona. Her daughter was born in USA. This photo was taken in Mexico's Isla Mujeres (July 2004). I met both of them again on the ferry boat returning from the island.

• AeroMexico. This lady once worked for the AeroMexico airlines as a flight attendant and travelled around the world. She knows the world and knows how to deal with people. We had a lunch together before the concert she was going to attend. We talked about music (Puebla, Mexico, 2003).

Friends from Brazil

• Two Brazilian Ladies at the top of the Jesus mountain in Rio de Janeiro (2011). Here is another photo.

  2. While I was having a photo with this young tour guide on a cable car (Rio 2000). A senior citizen enviously was looking us. I then invited her to have photo with me. Look how happy she is.

  4. Two Interior Decorators in Iguassu Falls. They were working on a Japanese room at the Mabu Thermas Resort Hotel.

  6. Brazilian Lady in Sao Paolo. Two police officers were there and perhaps they thought we were funny people, but they were without expressions.

  11. She came from the president's hometown. While I was waiting for the elevator, this lady told me she came from the her new president's hometown. This photo was taken in June of 2011. Dilma Rousseff became the president of Brazil in January of 2011.

  13. Ladies in Rio. I met them in the restaurant district in Rio de Janeiro (2011). I asked them whether I could have a photo with them. They said Yes.

• Brazilian Sisters in Athens (July 2008). This photo led me to think God created two women for me. I was standing alone there in 1999.
  1. Tall Brazilian Lady in Amsterdam. She was one of those Brazilians who were going to Berlin to cheer their football team during the 2006 World Cup held in Germany.
  2. Two Brazilian Friends I met at London's Tottingham Court metro station (2009).
  3. Brazilian lady working at the Hotel Lancaster in London (2009).
  4. Two Brazilian Ladies in Buenos Aires, Argentina (2011).

  5. Two Brazilian Ladies in Cancun (2013). We were waiting for a ferry boat to Mujares Island.
  6. Two Brazilian ladies at the BWI Airport in Baltmore. They came from a north-eastern province of Brazil (March 2014).

  7. Brazilian lady at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas (2014).
  8. Brazilian lawyer at the top of the One Wold Building in New York (2016). She was born in Columbia and thus speaks Spanish, but she speaks Portugese in San Paulos (Brazil).

Friends from Argentina

• Profssor at Boston University. She came from Argentina. She was visiting her family (2011). We shared the same shuttle bus from the airport.
  1. Medical students at a Spanish restaurant in Buenos Aires (2011). I like medical students. They are smart.
  2. Engineering students at the University of Buenos Aires. They are also smart. They can do mathematics.
  3. Che Guevara is highly respected in Buenos Aires. This is his portrait in the city hall.
  4. Folk Dancers. Their ancestors came from Bulgaria. They are eager to preserve their Bulgarian tradition.
  5. Evita Peron's tomb at the Recoleta Cemetery in Buenos Aires.
  6. Two Argentine ladies at the Washington Harbor in DC. (2012). The Kennedy Center is seen in the background.

  7. In Jerusalem, this Argentinian lady is so happy to stand on the street which used to be the boundary between East and West Jerusalems (May, 2019). She is Jewish and is very happy to be with her Israeli flag.

  8. Senior citizen from Argentina with her granddaughters in Seville (Spain, May 2019). We then chased away those two young girls. She became very happy to have a solo photo with me.

Friends from Central and South Americas

• Lady from El Salvador, working at the Sir Walter Raleigh Inn (American-style restaurant) near my house (2002). El Salvador is a small country, but it produces many people. There are many Salvadoran ladies in the Washington area.

• Two Costa Rican ladies in Florence (2014). I forgot to ask them whether they are sisters.

• Nicaraguan Student at the Pantheon in Paris (2010).

• Cuban Lady at Bongo's Cuban Cafe in Miami (Florida 2004). There is a huge Cuban community in Miami. They are, including this lady, all anti-Castro Cubans.

• Bolivian Lady working at one of the crystal shops in Stockhom (June 2005). She is very happy with me because I bought a gift item for my daughter in law. She is holding a credit-card slip (money!) which I signed.

• Peruvian Lady working at the Sheraton Preimier in Vienna (Virginia, USA). A very sharp and warm-hearted lady indeed (April 2006).
  1. Happy to meet again (August 2007). She became promoted!
  2. Two Peruvian Iadies at a hotel breakfast room in Shanghai (2013).

• Venezuelan physicsist in Paris (2000).
  1. Two ladies from Venezuela in front of the Merces-Benz Meseum in Sttutgart Germany (2012).
  2. Venezuela lady in Spain. She is working at a gift shop in Seville (2019). She is very happ because they speak also in Spain. She loves her country, Venezuela, but she had to leave her homeland because she did not like political climate there.

I received my PhD degree from Princeton in 1961, seven years after high school graduation in 1954. This means that I did much of the ground work for the degree during my high school years.
