there was also meeting in Princeton to celebrate the Wigner Centennial Year. Among the participants were

• Frederic Seitz, who is well known as the pionior of the condensed matter physics. He was Wigner's first PhD student at Princeton.

• Charles Upton is Wigner's son-in-law and is a professor of economics at Kent State University in Ohio, U.S.A.

• Josehp Taylor was the provost of Princeton University. Taylor was and still is a professor of physics at the University, and won the 1993 Nobel prize in physics.
