Here is another person with a similar problem.

I look liked this to a Russian lady in the audience when I gave
a talk in Kazan (Russia 1999).

My papers are difficult to read, because
- I look like a particle physicist to optical physicists.
- I look like an optics man to particle physicists.
- Since there are more optics people in the audience, I should
be a particle man to them, but I should speak the language
of optics.
- As a particle physicist, I studied the Lorentz group. I
studied enough to tell Wigner the stories he wanted to hear in
his later years.
- While doing so, I found out the Lorentz group is also
applicable to many branches of optics. My name is
associated with squeezed states, because the squeezed
state is a representation of the Lorentz group.
- Click
here for Dirac's 1963 paper on two-photon states.
I met Dirac twice
(in 1962 and in 1978).
