In June of 2002, in Vexjo (Sweden), I spotted this jeep. This military vehicle was made in U.S.A. 60 years ago, and it still carries the original serial number.

in 1945, American soldiers came to Korea on the jeeps of the same model. Those jeeps were used until the first phase of the Korean War.

It still carries the original serial number.

In the following photo, the American delegates for the cease-fire negotiation head to Kaesong for the first meeting with the Chinese/N.Korean counterparts in July of 1951. Next to the driver is Vice Admiral C. Turner Joy of the U.S. Navy, the head of the U.S. (or UN) delegates.
