Postdoctoral Position in Random Matrix Theory
The Department of Applied Mathematics at H.I.T. - Holon Institute of Technology (Holon, Israel) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Mathematical Physics. The successful candidate is expected to be involved into a research at the crossroad of the Random Matrix Theory, Field-Theoretic Approaches to Condensed Matter Problems, and the Theory of Integrable Hierarchies. Previous research record in one of those fields is an advantage, strong analytical skills is a must. The initial appointment will be for one year with a possibility of an extension depending on performance and available funds.Applicants with a PhD degree in mathematical/theoretical physics are encouraged to submit a curriculum vitae, list of publications, summary of current research interests, and contact information for three references to:

POSITION IN THEORETICAL PHYSICSThe department of Mathematics & Physics in the University of Haifa at Oranim is pleased to announce the opening of a tenure-track academic position in theoretical physics, starting October 2008.
Applicants should have a PhD in physics, very good and credible research record in any field of theoretical physics, and ability and interest in undergraduate instruction. In addition, fluency in Hebrew is a requirement.

The department is a part of the Faculty of Science and Science Education in the University of Haifa, and is located on the campus of the Oranim College of Education, near Tivon.
